On one hand, I think that's utterly awesome, and I'd be right there with you if I was playing this game.
On the other hand, I dread the day when I make such a joke around my son, and he gives me a dumbfounded look. I will then know what it was like for my dad when he tried to explain to me about watching "Kukla, Fran, and Ollie" at the dawn of television.
I am not a Sailor Moon fan, but for awhile I kept ending up where Monitors were showing the scene where she raises her compact high to transform. And every time I was compelled to shout Daffy Duck's line, "MAKE-UUUUP."
Daffy Duck actually cribbed that from Milton Berle. Berle would play the pompous actor on the receiving end and one of the ensemble cast (Louis Nye?)on his old Texaco show would play his perfectionist director who would call out for make-up touch ups between takes. Berle's innocent co-star would get a few daubs and Berle would get a sofa cushion covered in flour or talc.
